Bournemouth Fashion Enter starts with a big BANG!

Fashion Enter delivery day in Bournemouth goes down a storm with press...

Hi this is Vanessa Camelia Development Manager for Fashion Enter reporting live from Bournemouth.

It’s great to be now up and running so quickly at one of the most creative places in the UK. I moved down to the wonderful Dorset region approximately two months ago working behind the scenes to make sure that a new office in Bournemouth was going to be an outright success. I am pleased to report that all is going according to plan.

We have been working on our ever popular industry seminars Getting It Right First Time and integrating real business enterprise with the learning environment.

The students of Fashion and Textile at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth have had an amazing journey that has carefully guided them through the business issues surrounding their own label.

A Tour first seminar we discussed topics of marketing, planning, sales, comparative and directional shopping as well as production issues too. The brief was set to design T-shirts and then showcase them to asos.com on 2nd December as well as showcasing them in Fashion Enter's two boutqiues in Croydon and Barking.

On Wednesday 26th we have the X factor of Fashion and a panel of experts will be judging.

Today Fashion Enter had received first hand news from the Mayor of Bournemouth herself  that she is very much looking forward to the Delivery Day at the Arts Institute on the 26th November.

I must say I am personally very excited to meet The Deputy Mayor of Bournemouth (Councillor Anne Filer)on the 26th and it is great to see the support of such an important figure.

'As Deputy Mayor of Bournemouth I am very much looking forward to attending your fashion event on 26th November'

The Deputy Mayor of Bournemouth (Councillor Anne Filer) is also the Chairman of the Bournemouth 2010 committee, which has been set up to arrange and co-ordinate the celebrations for Bournemouth's 200th Anniversary in 2010.

The Mayor also quoted;

'There are many events planned such as community events, orchestral concerts, cultural and sports events, to a film festival and a web based Streets of Bournemouth project devised by the University - and more!

The main of this is to celebrate all that is good about Bournemouth past, present and very exciting future and we want to embrace all sections of life in this wonderful town - and, of course, the Arts Insitute is constantly bringing innovative ideas and your new focus on business is especially important in these difficult economic days'.

We are soon to have a follow up meeting with the Mayor to discuss ways in which Fashion-Enter Ltd can bring a unique and exciting projects to the South West.

On Wednesday we will have a full article on how the event unfolded. The students at this very moment are busy putting the finishing touches to their T-Shirt designs.
