Fashion Enter reports on the trends and styles taking over the Spanish capital.

London may be one of the worlds greatest fashion capitals but as any good designer knows a broad spectrum of ideas and influences is key in designing the perfect collection. This is why Fashion Enter endeavours to bring you a unique insight into some of the world's most interesting and varied cultures. The most recent being the Spanish capital of Madrid.

Madrid is a beautiful city combing historical, architectural highlights with a modern infrastructure. It oozes culture with many of the most famous art galleries and museums situated in the city. However we were expecting glamorous state of the art boutiques so with a distinct lack of them it was quite disappointing.

Fast becoming recognised as a leading fashion destination, Madrid has been rivalling with Barcelona to obtain the title as Fashion Capital of Spain. In Madrid fashion weeks are also organised with main events being held at the Pasarela Cibeles (Cibeles Catwalk). Twice a year, Madrid-based designers, such as Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Angel Schlesser and Javier Larrainar, among many others, present their creations and latest collections.
