The principal of K. Benson Associates has been working exclusively in the fashion and creative industries since 1968.  His experience includes some ten years as a management consultant working on a wide range of business advisory and systems-related assignments, both in the UK and abroad.  Some five years were spent running a European CAD/CAM organisation and the ten years prior to the set of his own consultancy operation in 1991 involved the establishment and management of a major UK computer systems company offering a complete range of solutions to fashion and other creative companies.

Keith was involved in the activities of CFI International from 1975 until its eventual merger with the Textile Institute in 1993.  He was a member of Council for some fifteen years, served on several committees and was Vice-Chairman for the final six years of CFI International's existence.

In recent years, Keith has concentrated on assisting businesses in the creative sector to obtain external funding for their companies.  He works as an accredited consultant with Business Link for London on the Access to Finance program by provide practical advice to small and medium sized companies and start-up businesses in the creative sector that are seeking various forms of finance, thereby enabling them to present their case for external funding more effectively.

The KBA FundAssist scheme is designed to help micro businesses develop viable business propositions for funding, where these owner-managed companies may not qualify for assistance under the Access to Finance program.
